Robert Hopper, CPA
Bob joined Sax in 1989 and served as a company Partner for the last 20 years. As leader in the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution Service Group, he provides accounting, tax and consulting services to a wide variety of clients in the manufacturing and distributing industry, among others. Bob specializes in helping business owners grow their businesses and increase efficiencies. Bob has assisted small and medium-sized companies identify critical issues in order to enhance their business and succeed. He also serves as a member of Sax’s Executive Committee.
Robert is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Garden State Credit Associates and is a current member and former chairman of the New Jersey State Society Bankers Co-Operation Committee.

Kathleen Alexander, CPA, MST, CFE
Kathleen joined Sax in 1988 and has been a Partner with the firm for over 18 years, providing accounting, tax planning, and business consulting services to clients across a range of industries. She is a hands-on professional and her clients rely on her strong knowledge of account controls and best practices. Kathleen focuses on establishing good tax strategies to maximize business and personal taxes which provides increased cash flow. Kathleen is activity involved in the firm’s Manufacturing/Distribution Industry Service Group and is also the partner in charge of the firm’s expanding Food and Beverage Industry Service Group. In addition, Kathleen is Director of Technical Training and Continuing Professional Education at the firm, and a Co-Chair of the Women’s Initiative Committee.

Joshua Chananie, CPA
Joshua joined Sax in 2003 and has more than ten years of experience. He is dedicated to the firm’s Not-For-Profit Industry Group, where he oversees some of the firm’s largest not-for-profit engagements (social services, religious organizations, and membership organizations), and provides exceptional client service in the area of auditing and consulting services. His abilities to think outside the box and communicate effectively enable him to serve clients proactively.
Joshua has also been a speaker at several not-for-profit events as well as an author of several articles, focusing on a variety of topics affecting the not-for-profit community. He has been an integral part of building the firm’s highly successful “Fist to Five Events” by bringing both passion and ideas to the forefront. In addition, Joshua also spends a portion of his time devoted to the Manufacturing and Distribution Industry Service Group.
In his spare time, Joshua enjoys playing golf, going to the beach, all things football-related and spending time with his family. He resides in Clifton, N.J.

Stephen J. Ehrenberg, CPA, MBT
Stephen Ehrenberg was named Partner in 2019 and is a new addition to the next generation of leaders at Sax. Primarily focused on the Manufacturing & Distribution industry, Stephen specializes in helping individuals and businesses make sound tax and financial decisions, providing 19 years of industry expertise in the areas of corporate, pass-through and individual tax compliance and consulting, as well as accounting for income taxes.
Prior to joining Sax LLP, Stephen was a tax partner at BDO USA LLP. Additionally, Stephen has public accounting experience both at the Big 4 and regional firm level.

Adam Feldman, CPA
Adam is a Partner with Sax LLP and a member of the firm’s Construction, Manufacturing & Distribution and Financial Services Practices with a focus on advising clients in the key areas essential to their success. Christopher is a Partner at Sax and a member of the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution Industry Service Group. He has more than 20 years of public accounting and tax experience, providing tax consulting, transaction structuring, and tax compliance and planning services to public and privately held companies. Jennifer L. Moroz, CPA
Jennifer joined Sax in 1997 and has more than 16 years of industry experience. She serves the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution clients in addition to being the Partner in charge of Employee Benefit Plan audits. She has extensive experience providing accounting and business consulting services to clients in other industry sectors as well. She began her career at Sax as a junior accountant and quickly rose through the company’s ranks as senior accountant, supervisor and manager before being named Partner in 2013.
Jennifer was instrumental in developing the firm’s employee training program, in which she continues to take an active role. Jennifer oversees all training for the employee benefit plan team and ensures that members are informed of regulatory updates and tax laws changes. In addition, when new associates are hired, she is involved in their first month of initial training and helps them acclimate to the firm and their new roles.
Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Albert Traverso, CPA
Al Traverso is a Partner in the Manufacturing and Distribution Industry Service Group at Sax. His technical expertise and industry-specific experience help the firm’s M&D clients navigate audits and compliance issues, inventory management, internal controls, cash flow analyses, risk management and tax challenges.
With more than 20 years’ experience in accounting, tax, and consulting services, Al is able to advise clients on financial strategy, improved operational efficiencies, and the development and implementation of succession plans. He also works with the firm’s Not-for-Profit Industry Service Group, managing the accounting needs of health and welfare organizations and schools.
In addition, Al is one of the firm’s leaders in the area of computerized audit techniques. He instructs Sax staff members on Active Data software, a data extraction software program that analyzes trends and client postings to streamline the entire audit process.
Al is a published author and speaker on manufacturing and distribution topics. His past speaking engagements include the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP), the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) and the Passaic County EDA. Al is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey.
