Oct 15 Sax LLP Expands Accounting & Auditing Expertise with Addition of Jeffrey Holt as Partner and Head of Quality Control
Parsippany, NJ, October 16, 2020 — Top 100 accounting, tax and business advisory leader, Sax LLP, has announced the addition of Jeffrey Holt, CPA to the firm’s established management team as Partner in the Accounting & Auditing Department and Head of Quality Control, effective September 16, 2020.
Jeff brings over 23 years of experience in public accounting, auditing and advisory services, and specializes in audits, reviews and compilations for closely held businesses in a multitude of industries, in addition to audits for not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. In his capacity as Head of Quality Control, Jeff will monitor Sax’s compliance with professional standards for conducting high-quality audits with competence, integrity, objectivity and independence. Jeff will coordinate internal firm inspections and Sax’s external peer review, in addition to developing the training curriculum and conducting seminars on accounting and auditing topics for the firm’s professionals.

Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Jeff began his career with a regional accounting firm on the West Coast and taught Accounting at a major university before moving to the New York area. Jeff most recently served as Partner in the Private Business Services Group at a Top 10 accounting firm. Before that, Jeff was a Principal at a Top 25 accounting firm.

Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and California and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He received his BA from UCLA, his MBA from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and his MA in English from Southern New Hampshire University.
