Apr 22 Webinar: Relief Opportunities Available for Healthcare Providers Impacted by COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the fiscal conditions of our businesses prompting mitigating actions to provide necessary relief.
Specific to the Healthcare industry, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) surprised eligible healthcare providers by releasing $30 billion of $100 billion in relief available through the Cares Act Provider Relief Fund directly to their business bank accounts. Providers who receive this payment will need to carefully review the Terms and Conditions and decide within 30 days of receiving the Payment whether to accept or remit the Payment.
In addition, to increase cash flow to a broader group of Medicare providers and suppliers, the CMS has expanded the current Accelerated and Advance Payment Program intended to provide necessary funds when there is a disruption in claims submission and/or claims processing.
Join Sax’s Healthcare Practice on Friday, April 24 at 12:00 PM as we provide an overview on the relief opportunities available to healthcare providers and the repayment and non-repayment requirements. Joining us for the conversation will be Grace D. Mack from Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. who will dive into the legal aspects of the relief opportunities and the terms and conditions that apply.
