Scott Goldberg joined Sax in 2022 as Partner and is based out of the firm’s New York City office. As an important member of the firm’s Not-for-Profit Practice, Scott is responsible for the overall audit strategy and delivery of audit-related services on engagements. He has extensive experience advising organizations on best business approaches to diversified accounting and management issues and has served a wide range of non-profits including cultural institutions, health and welfare organizations, philanthropic foundations, and charter schools.
Scott’s in-depth background encompasses audits of federal awards in accordance with Uniform Grant Guidance and other third-party reimbursements. He shares his expertise as an instructor on topics related to non-profit fiscal management and offers continuing education seminars in all areas of non-profit accounting. In addition, Scott has delivered several presentations to various professional and industry associations.
Prior to joining Sax, Scott was the New York Not-for-Profit Practice Leader of a national accounting firm.
