Eddie Rivera is a Partner at Sax LLP and has been practicing public accounting for almost 20 years. He is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Construction Practices, and has a diverse technical background delivering tax, accounting and auditing services to some of the largest privately owned real estate and construction enterprises in the Tri-state area. Since completing graduate school, Eddie has focused his time on mastering the tax law, specifically as it relates to private enterprises and the real estate and construction industries.

Immediately prior to joining Sax, Eddie was a Tax Partner at a Top-25 public accounting firm and previously served as Vice President of Accounting and Taxation at a large, diversified real estate investment firm. The extensive and diverse experience and knowledge Eddie gained during his career helps him to better understand his clients’ needs and deliver targeted and efficient business and tax advice.

Eddie is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New Jersey. He frequently moderates and speaks on panels focused on various topics in the areas of taxation, real estate, and construction. Most recently, Eddie has spoken on like kind exchanges, Opportunity Zones, and tax planning for construction contractors.
