SBA AND TREASURY DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCE RE-OPENING OF THE PPP

The Small Business Administration (SBA), along with the Treasury Department, announced that the Paycheck Protection Program will re-open for borrowers during the week of January 11, 2021.  Community financial institutions will be able to make First Draw PPP loans on Monday, January 11, 2021 and Second Draw PPP loans on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.  Once these dates pass, other lenders will be able to start making loans.

On January 6, 2021, the SBA and Treasury Department issued two interim final rules to provide further guidance for PPP borrowers.  Stay tuned for our e-blast alerts on these topics.
