Apr 02 SAX LLP NAMED A “COMPANY THAT CARES” BY CIANJ AND COMMERCE MAGAZINE
Clifton, NJ, April 2, 2018 – Sax LLP, a leading accounting, tax and advisory firm was recently named a “Company that Cares” by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and COMMERCE Magazine, who recently hosted their 5th Annual Chairman’s Reception on March 20 – paying tribute to the kindness and generosity of the business community.
Sax was recognized for the work done in the community throughout the year, but more specifically their annual 4 Miler at Garret Mountain that raised $67,000 for St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in 2017. Since 2012, Sax LLP has raised over $365,000 for the Children’s Hospital and has become the Child Life Department’s largest financial contributor. The 7th Annual 4 Miler at Garret Mountain is slated this year for Saturday, September 15, 2018.
“For most of the companies that we honored, their generosity and kindness is part of their culture,” said Anthony Russo, President of CIANJ. “The public is often unaware of the magnitude and scope of these good works. This reception was our way of shining a spotlight on ‘Companies that Care’,” Russo added.
Sax was among 39 companies in a broad range of industries honored by CIANJ as “Champions of Good Works” which were decided by a blue-ribbon panel of judges. Kathleen Alexander, who sits on the CIANJ Board and Larry Gradzki, accepted the award on behalf of Sax LLP at the event.
