SAX and KPMG invite you to join us and other like-minded professionals across the veterinary services sector for the first Veterinary Investors and M&A Conference on Wednesday, May 10.

This is the first conference of its kind – focusing on investors, private equity funds, M&A advisors, lenders, legal professionals, consultants, and others who support the growth and innovation in the veterinary services industry.
This conference will include thought-provoking discussion and meaningful insights which focus on acquisition and organic growth, investor strategies, operational advancements, and the cutting-edge business management approaches which will drive the next wave of activity in this market.

  • George Robinson, Founder and former CEO of Heartland Veterinary Partners, a Chicago-based veterinary organization. Dr. Robinson has over 30 years of veterinary industry experience holding numerous clinical, operational, and senior management roles throughout his career. Prior to joining Heartland Veterinary Partners, Dr. Robinson held a senior management and operations position with National Veterinary Associates, a group veterinary hospital and support organization with over 500 hospital locations and 1000 veterinarians throughout the U.S. Prior to National Veterinary Associates.
  • Kevin Moyer, CFE, MBA, Partner at Sax LLP and Leader or the firm’s Transaction Advisory Group. Kevin brings over a decade of experience to the conversation and has robust transaction knowledge which allows him to advise his clients on financial and operational diligence, finance transformation and corporate restructuring mandates.
  • Eric Lewandowski, Managing Director at KPMG Strategy, has advised large veterinary corporate platforms and private equity funds on some of the most impactful veterinary M&A deals in the industry. Eric’s veterinary consulting experience includes sell-side, buy-side, performance improvement, labor optimization, and other services.
  • Susan L. Howell, CPA, Partner at RBT CPAs Partner, has over 25 years of public accounting experience, 15 years within the veterinary line of business. Susan leads RBT CPA’s Veterinary practice, working with her team to provide bookkeeping, accounting, tax, financial planning, CFO, and business advisory services.

The event’s closing speaker will be William Wagasy, a former Notre Dame football player under Coach Lou Holtz, decorated U.S. Navy SEAL Chief, former Director of Veterans Programs and Outreach and current Ambassador at the Gary Sinise Foundation. Bill frequently speaks to organizations on leadership and success, tapping into his prior disciplines and experience.
