About
Joseph Shannon is a Partner with SAX with over 30 years of experience in public accounting, serving a variety of business and tax clients in various industries. He currently serves as the Real Estate Team lead and his primary client focus is working with closely held real estate development entities. His expertise includes transaction advisory, tax planning and tax compliance services to both residential and commercial real estate developers, property management entities and their owners.
Joe is a member of SAX’s Executive Committee. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, he is also Accredited in Business Valuations and has played a critical role in more than 200 business valuations in areas including manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, professional services, retail sales, real estate, limited partnerships, family limited partnerships and construction. His current valuation work is mainly focused on estate tax planning engagements.
