Parsippany, NJ, July 7, 2023 – Sax LLP has been ranked as the 13th largest accounting firm in New Jersey by NJBIZ in the media property’s 2023 Top Accounting Firms in New Jersey. The growth of Sax was instrumental in NJBIZ naming CEO and Managing Partner Joseph Damiano to its Accounting Power 50 of most influential certified public accountants (CPAs) in New Jersey.
It is the fourth consecutive year Damiano has made the list that recognizes some of the most impactful men and women in business throughout the Garden State. Under his leadership, Sax has experienced consistent growth while maintaining its commitment to giving back to the community.
Sax has undergone significant expansion over the past year. It opened its first international office in Mumbai, India and added four New York-based firms in 2022. The firm launched a redesigned website and moved to a brand-new office space in Parsippany to help attract the best possible professional talent. Sax’s team has increased by more than 43% to 269 professionals and expanded its C-suite with a new CFO.

The ranking by NJBIZ is the latest recognition for Sax. It was recently named by Accounting Today a Top 100 firm nationwide, ranking 68 – making a 19-spot leap from 2022 and only one of three New Jersey firms to be ranked. The firm was also recognized in the Mid-Atlantic region as No. 13 and the No. 6 fastest growing in the U.S. due in large part to its 48.1% revenue increase to $82.2 million for 2022.
